GET THE SCOOP - Meet the Teacher September 1st

We invite all students and families to join us before the first day of school to meet their teacher, visit their classroom, and drop off school supplies.

Drop-In Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our administrative team and directed to your child's classroom entrance. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to become familiar with their learning environment, meet their teacher, and see what the first day of school will look like. Families are also encouraged to bring and leave school supplies, helping to make the first day a little smoother and more comfortable for everyone.

REMINDERS

Birthday Celebrations

At Edmonton Catholic Schools, we are committed to promoting healthy, inclusive learning environments that support the well-being of all students. To align with this commitment and accommodate the diverse needs of our school community, we ask that families do not send birthday treats or food items to school.

Students' birthdays are still celebrated and recognized throughout the year. In addition, our Parent Council sponsors monthly birthday recognition activities to help ensure every child feels special on their birthday. We appreciate your support in helping us create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.

Parking

  • For the safety of all students and staff, please do not use the staff parking lot for student drop-off or pick-up at anytime. Our staff parking lot will be fully utilized this year as we welcome more staff, and using the designated drop-off areas at the front of the school and nearby crosswalks provides the safest route for everyone.

  • Please respect the designated bus zones and no-parking areas. These spaces must remain clear to ensure the safe arrival and departure of our students.

  • Please do not park beyond the posted no-parking sign near the illuminated crosswalk or directly in front of the sign. Our student patrols require clear sightlines in both directions to safely assist students crossing the street.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members of our school community.
